Why is it important to learn this?

The circular economy is a transformative approach to sustainability. It aims to move away from the traditional linear “take-make-waste” model and instead focuses on keeping resources in use for as long as possible. Implementing new ideas for the circular economy can present business risks and uncertainty if user needs are not considered. This is why Design Thinking is crucial, as it focuses on human experiences, ensuring comprehensive and adaptable solutions. By integrating Design Thinking, you and your organisation can achieve long-term economic viability and sustainability while effectively addressing user needs and environmental challenges.
