Technology
To quote Bill Gates, “we over estimate change in the next 2 year and underestimate change in the next 10 years”! Technology is at the heart of this change, bringing both massive benefits but a whole range of new human and societal challenges we need to explore as part of our collective dialogue.
We see three critical areas happening in this space:

• The fast paced evolution of everyday technology is only adding complexity. This mass digitalisation is leaving segments behind (e.g. elderly)

• The exponential evolution of technology creating a sense of disorientation for the rest of usThe exponential evolution of technology creating a sense of disorientation for the rest of usThe exponential evolution of technology creating a sense of disorientation for the rest of us

• Data privacy and cybersecurity are even more essential as we put our whole world online and navigated the pros and cons of training AIs and intellectual property rights

Human Centred Design can work to make things simple not stupid. There is every opportunity for technology to mould itself around us not the other way around.
How do we make digital interaction as diverse as the humans who use them?
