In a world facing significant environmental challenges, understanding the shift from a linear to a circular economy is crucial. This workshop is designed to enlighten you about the benefits of a circular economy and encourage actions that can lead to a more sustainable future. Through highlighting the inefficiencies of the linear system, we explore how a circular approach can conserve resources, minimise waste, and respect planetary boundaries.
Join us for an interactive workshop that blends education with fun! Through a series of collaborative exercises, you will gain a holistic understanding of the linear economy's shortcomings and the potential of the circular model. By the end of the session, you will walk away with practical insights and actionable strategies to implement in your personal or professional life.
Value of Training: Understand the core principles of the circular economy and learn how to apply these concepts to foster sustainability.
Learning Outcomes: You will gain knowledge about economic models, develop critical thinking on resource use, and inspire change through collective intelligence.
This course was developed in 2020 by Elsa Bortuzzo and Anne-France Mariacher who wanted to promote awareness-raising actions on the circular economy and disseminate knowledge as much as possible to encourage action! To date they have had over 23,000 participants take part, trained more that 500 facilitators and have 50 partners, deployed internally or for their customers.
